” Making the invisible visible ” Why K-Lite ? Modern dental composites and luting materials contain fluorescent components that improve the esthetic results of a reconstruction.
At certain wavelengths of light (UV-A 365 to 405 nm), these fluorescent components cannot be distinguished from natural tooth material. K-Lite makes this possible and thus the risk of iatrogenic tooth damage can be significantly reduced if they have to be removed. The K-Lite is a groundbreaking dental device that facilitates the following:

1. the removal of unwanted excess composite or cement materials. Some examples of applications are dental brackets, connecting elements, retainers and cement residues, etc. 2. Use in the case of tooth injuries (dental splint) and/or in the so-called fluorescence-assisted identification technique (FIT). These two objectives motivated the inventor to develop and produce the K-Lite in cooperation with Smile Line SA, Switzerland. 3. the K-Lite also helps to identify certain bacterial by-products found in plaque, calculus and infectious gums. – Quick and easy to use
